The India !ndia Festival was hosted for the second time in the centre of Zurich from Friday, 27th August 2010 to Sunday, 29th August 2010 under the patronage of the City of Zurich. Kerala was our guest state for the year 2010. King mahavali, the Chenda drums of Kerala, Padmashree Dr. Ananada Shankar ( Kuchipudi dance ), Bollywood dancers from Mayuri dance Troupe, loads and loads of Masala dosas, pakoras, fried fish and tandoori chicken attracted more than 250,000 visitors to the Main station in Zürich to witness India in the heart of Zürich.

We, the organizers of the festival, are delighted for the third year in a row, to present India again in the most visited location in the whole of Switzerland. We bring India to Zürich on 26th, 27th and 28th August 2011.

India!ndia Summer festival will be a three-day grand carnival at the SBB-Halle at the Zürich HB, combining an Indian Bazaar, stage performances, workshops, activities for children, live stations and DJ parties

We seek to target the audience in the city of Zurich and the canton of Zurich as well as go beyond and attract the general public in Winterthur, St. Gallen, Chur, Zug, Luzern, Baden, Bern, Basel, Lugano, Lausanne and Geneva. The event has the potential and offers the platform to extend in scope and embrace countries in Europe.

The India !ndia festival 2011 will be partnering with NGOs Unicef, Dhan and Cry, to support projects working with women and children.
